Industry Presentations
We are excited to present the Industry track for case study presentations by practitioners across sectors in India. These case study presentations can be about an HCI-focused research or design project with a credible outcome or impact on the product / business / organization / community. The focus is to bring more visibility to industry-focused case studies, which will be insightful for both practitioners and students participating in the conference.
Please carefully read all the details about eligibility criteria, submission process, and other information before your submission for the industry track case study presentation.
Important Dates
May 20, 2024: Round 1 Submission opens
July 14, 2024: Round 1 submission ends
July 31, 2024: Shortlisted candidates will be notified for Round 2
September 1 - 15, 2024: Round 2 Jury and Feedback
September 30 - October 15, 2024: Final speakers will be announced

Eligibility Criteria
You are currently a researcher or UX practitioner in India, employed by a company/organization or freelancer.
The chosen case study should have been executed in a project with a tangible or measurable impact or outcome from 2023- 2024. So, the project might be executed during 2023 or before, but the eligibility criteria are the year the impact was measured. For example, Project A with a research or UX scope was envisaged or executed in 2021, but the impact was realized and documented in 2023.
Case studies covering innovation or a new framework executed as a practitioner during the 2023 - 2024 period will also qualify for the application.
Submission Process
Please fill out this Google form application here for Round 1 that explains the project's concept, impact, and other details. We encourage you to create a draft and review your answers carefully before submitting your final responses in the Google form.
Please submit your Round 1 application by July 14, 2024, Sunday before 11:59 pm IST.
The applications will be reviewed by industry-based jury members from HCI backgrounds and experience.
The shortlisted candidates will be informed by July 31, 2024. Details will be shared with shortlisted applicants for Round 2 submission requirements. This round will involve a presentation draft, which will be reviewed by jury members for elimination or feedback to improve further for the final speakers.
Round 2 will be concluded between the 1st - 15th of September 2024, and the final speakers for the case study presentation will be announced between the 15th- 25th of September 2024.
All shortlisted final speakers will be given a certificate of participation and some exciting prizes for best case studies for 2024.
